]]> So you are planning a project, that’s great! I’m sure by now you have either picked out what you want to accomplish or at least have an idea. The next thing you need to do is find a credible contractor who can come out and give you an estimate. Time varies on when the company can get out to do an estimate, but usually it is done between 24 – 48 business hours.

 Whether you are looking to replace your old asphalt or concrete driveway or are in need of some step repairs or other paving needs, keep in mind the sooner you contact a contractor the better as calendar spaces can and do fill up fast. And just like our lives, businesses’ go through unforeseen set backs and stand stills too. This is partially the reason why some paving companies don’t give exact start dates unless the time is approaching, then most companies will contact you. When Mother Nature isn’t being so nice it can really hold up plans on a project as well as other upcoming projects. Generally a paving company will give you a window, such as, 2 weeks out or some may say 2 to 4 weeks out, or something of that nature.

What ever your project may be planning ahead is a good way to start, the sooner the better. Spots fill up quickly and the longer the wait, the further down the calendar your project will be. Just keep in mind unforeseen issues can occur when dealing with the weather and other issues.
